Gail Ann O'Grady is an American actress and producer who has been in television from the age of 58. She is best known for her roles as Donna Abandando on the ABC drama NYPD Blue, and Helen Pryor on The NBC series American Dreams. O'Grady's leading roles in television films are equally popular. She has been nominated three times for her role in the Primetime Emmy Award. O'Grady has been married six times. When she broke off with artist Robert Claypool she sought a an order of restraining him from 1995. Gail claims that the stalker was her, however she was unable to obtain one. Gail has responded to the claims by filing a suit against him on charges of defamation, libel, and slander.
