Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is more commonly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is the combination of the name of his favourite uncle and the name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) and it is his first major label deal with Epic Records. Scott also signed a contract to publish with Kanye's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. The second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within a year.
