 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known as his alias MrBeast is an American YouTube star, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. The YouTube personality is known with establishing a YouTube video genre that is focused on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. At the age of 13, Donaldson began uploading YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His first videos were primarily Let's Plays and videos that estimated other YouTubers' riches. He went viral in 2017 after his "counting up to 100,000" video racked up hundreds of thousands of views in just a couple of days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos earning thousands of views.Over time the style of his content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that pay millions of dollars, videos involving tough challenges or tasks, and original videos. Once his channel took off, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to help him run the growing business. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel reached 100,000,000 subscribers on July 28, 2022.
