Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor just after emigrating to United States. Her fame was boosted by her appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from the year 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being chosen to voice the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she fled antisemitism when she was just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of financial struggles within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
